Our site is dedicated to the memory of Kevin Mardorf Sr. 06/17/1945 - 10/21/2002. He was a father, husband and a friend. We will continue to provide our customers with the honor and integrity that he taught us everyday of his life. |
theconsumerBridge.com was established as a "one stop shop" for Internet users. We wanted to provide a savings portal for the educated business owner and consumer. The ultimate goal was to be able to offer customers a wide variety of selections and choices from professional companies that provide everyday services....at a DISCOUNT. We started theconsumerBridge.com out of frustration. Back in June 2001, AOL sent us a large Internet usage bill for $75. At the time, we were a member of AOL for over six years, faithfully paying the ever increasing rates that still never end. We called the company to question the bill and was told that we had "additional costs" during the month. AOL's customer service did not have the details and could not explain what they were. Customer Service then told us we would get a fax of the detail. We told AOL if they did not credit our account for these unexplained charges, we would take our six years of faithfull service elsewhere. Customer service responded, "go ahead." Shocked that they would say that to us, we started to look for another Internet access provider. We found one, at half the price. AOL made a mistake. AOL thought they were the only Internet access game around. We then thought other large companies, such as our long distance provider at the time SNET, may not be the only long distance company around. We were right, and saved 50% off our next long distance bill in the process. Today, theconsumerBridge.com has partnered with several professional and high quality companies that will help you stop spending, and start saving. All our providers provide the same services as the big boys, but without the attitude and high prices. Why spend more when you can save more? By the way, AOL never sent the fax.
